Biografía:

- Nació el 23 de Abril de 1954 en Juva, Finlandia.
- Obtuvo la diplomatura en Ingenieria en 1980 y en 1982 se licenció en la Universidad de Helsinki. En 1984 obtuvo finalmente el doctorado en la misma Universidad.
- Profesor de Ingeniería Informática, especializado en Redes Neuronales y Procesamiento de Señales en la Universidad de Tecnología de Helsinki, Espoo, Finlandia.
- Miembro de la editorial para las jornadas de Neurocomputación y Procesamiento Neural
